Product overview

A brief built around the way your property operates.

A duvet is the filled bedding product. Its removable cover is a separate textile item. A useful inquiry identifies both the required duvet specification and whether matching covers are part of the project.

Guest-room bedding

Coordinate duvet size with the bed layout and the intended cover.

Suite programs

Separate requirements where room or bed configurations differ.

Seasonal requirements

Describe the climate, room conditions and warmth direction the buyer wants reviewed.

01 / Specification planning

Specify the Filled Duvet

The shell, filling and construction form one specification. A photograph cannot establish filling composition, fill weight or a tested warmth level.

Finished size & intended use
Provide finished dimensions, bed type and hospitality application. Confirm the corresponding duvet cover dimensions.
Shell / fabric requirement
Identify the shell material and fabric requirements supplied by your project specification. Bring any required supporting test criteria into the brief.
Filling requirement
State the filling preference and composition if already specified by the buyer. No customer-specific filling recipe is assumed as a standard.
Fill weight & warmth direction
Provide the requested fill weight or warmth requirement where defined. Agree the specification and any evaluation requirements rather than inferring performance from appearance.
Construction & finish
Describe the construction layout and edge or finish requirement. Review the proposed sample against the confirmed filling and size.
Project supply details
List quantities by size or specification, packing requirements, destination and project timing.

Size & product coordination

Match the filled product with its cover.

Identify whether covers already exist, are sourced separately or are being developed together. Confirm finished duvet and cover dimensions as distinct items and review the sample fit before approving a complete set.

Customization

Specify the detail before the sample.

Size, shell direction, filling requirement, construction and edge finish can be discussed as project inputs. State any label or packing needs. Final combinations are subject to specification and sample review; fixed warmth or performance levels are not assumed.

What buyers need to specify

Make your inquiry ready for review.

Separate requirements by item and room or application. If a decision is still open, identify it for discussion rather than treating a photograph as the specification.

Hotel Duvets FAQ

Before you finalize your specification.

Is a duvet the same as a duvet cover?+

No. The duvet is filled bedding; the duvet cover is the removable textile around it. They need separate specifications and coordinated dimensions.

Can we specify our own filling requirement?+

Provide the required composition and fill weight if defined by your project. They will be reviewed with the shell, construction and intended use.

Does the photograph indicate a warmth rating?+

No. Appearance does not establish filling composition or performance. Any required warmth or test criteria must be part of the confirmed brief.
